Noel Valdez, a partner in the firm's San Antonio office, joined the firm in February 2002. Noel graduated cum laude from the University of Notre Dame in 1997 and received his Juris Doctor from Cornell University in 2000.  His practice is primarily focused on serving as bond counsel, special disclosure counsel and underwriter's counsel in general obligation bond issuances and revenue-backed financings, including revenue obligations secured by sales taxes, tax increment, system revenues and/or intergovernmental revenue-sharing arrangements. He has worked with a variety of issuers, including various Texas cities, counties, school districts and other political subdivisions.
